Every day is a card: where you wake up, what the road does, where you sleep.

DAY 01The early escape

Leave Friday grumpy, camp Friday happy. The east side of Harrison rolls from pavement to gravel to quiet in under two hours, and the lake does the rest.

DAY 02The far end

Around the top of the lake where the day-trippers never get: hot creek soaks, big timber, and a gravel beach camp with forty kilometres of water pointed at your door.

DAY 03The slow goodbye

Down the west side mainline with a swim stop you will keep secret. Back to the city by dinner, already planning the seven day version.
