Prepare to be amazed! Few know about the stunning sand deposits hidden in the vast landscapes of Northern Alberta and Saskatchewan.
Starting our adventure in Edmonton, we’ll journey through the endless boreal forests, immerse ourselves in the rich cultures of the North, and stand in awe before spectacular, sprawling sand dunes.
Expect to sink into deep bogs, see swarms of mosquitoes thicker than smoke, explore oil mining ventures and learn about the local way of life.

Its far away, its full of bugs or snow, but its vast beauty will draw us in, take hold of us, and guide us through.
Lets go explore the North. The horizon may seem to never get closer. But look over there… no no, past the Caribou! Yes, thats a Polar Bear!! NO! Get back in the truck!
Expect
Following along the infamous Highway 40 in Western Alberta, we travel thru the coal rich foothills. The roads are rough, in some places impassible (challenge accepted!). The views are long and uninterrupted. Nature is all you can see.
At every bend in the river, we have the chance to see wild elk, moose, deer and bear. Fishing is endless. We become immersed in nature as it is, seeing evidence of actions of the past.
Expect to see mining trucks crossing the highways, cowboys riding their horse to the gas station, endless roads reaching deep into untamed wilderness, and ceremonial sites used by the local cultures.
Navigating North from Victoria BC, on the world famous Vancouver Island, we transcend upon beaches laced with old growth cedars. Ghostly fog coats the coast line while you carve out your surf lines, black bears secretly padding the sand .
Driving to the very tip of the island, we will experience the local logging and fishing cultures, see some of the last remaining old growth forests and get ready to board a boat that will weave us thru the coastal waters towards Haida Gwaii.
Expect to taste the ocean, sway with the trees, feast on Salmon and learn some local languages!
