02

Reach across North America

No one else is doing this. No one else even comes close.

  • Our expanding fleet gives you the opportunity to travel different regions without the long in-between.
  • Short on time? Fly in, pick up your rig, and be in the backcountry the same day.
  • Today, the Pacific Northwest. Tomorrow, further.
03

Everything included

Don't worry about a thing. The systems are fully charged and ready to go. Unpack your duffel and feel right at home.

  • Full kitchen, cookware, linens and towels. Camp chairs, awning, campfire kit, full outdoor camp kit.
  • Hammocks, paddle boards, fishing kits. Tanks full, batteries charged, diesel heat and hot water running.
  • Need anything extra? We'll get it: grocery service, custom sport setups, even a DR650 on the back. Sky's the limit.
04

Adventure like never before

Camp is where and when you decide. No more backtracking to base.

  • Point the truck at the part of the map you've always wondered about.
  • Local knowledge on tap when you want it, silence when you don't.
  • Weeks of water, power and heat mean the trip ends when you say it does.

The long weekend that doesn't feel like one.

Lakes, mainlines and west coast sand within reach of Victoria. Three days that run like ten: pick up the rig in the morning, be swimming somewhere unpronounceable by dinner, and spend the middle day on gravel that most islanders don't know exists.

The Sea to Sky Circle: the chiefThe Sea to Sky Circle: the bay

The deep South Coastals loop, an hour from the city.

Whistler, Lillooet, Seton Portage, D'Arcy, the Birkenhead and back through Pemberton. You leave the Sea to Sky corridor with the tourists in the mirrors, then spend a week in the rain shadow country behind it: canyon roads, bench lands, and lakes that look photoshopped..

5 TO 7 DAYS · MODERATE · From $6,000 CAD
Acela expedition truck on a driftwood beach at sunsetThe Sunshine Coast Run: the lake

Ferries, inlets, and forest roads to Powell River.

Up the coast the slow way. Two ferries, a string of inlets, and mainline networks running behind the whole coastline that the beach traffic never finds.

3 TO 5 DAYS · EASY GOING · From $3,600 CAD
Expedition truck parked beside a clear river in autumn coloursThe Harrison Lake Loop: the chief

The three-day escape built for Vancouver locals.

Straight from the city, around the lake, and home changed. The full circuit of Harrison's west and east sides runs rougher than people expect and better than they hope: bluffs over the lake, creek camps, and the 4WD association's maintained rec sites without a reservation system in sight..

3 DAYS · MODERATE · From $3,600 CAD
Hot springs and powder towns
The Hot Springs Loop: the ferryThe Hot Springs Loop: the lake

Halfway, St. Leon, Ainsworth, soak, drive, repeat.

The Kootenays' worst-kept secret, run properly: Halfway River, St. Leon, Ainsworth, and all the way down to Whiteswan and Lussier.

Revelstoke to Trail and around, at expedition pace.

The classic Kootenay line the ski magazines named, run in the green months when the passes open and the towns exhale. Revelstoke, the Slocan, Nelson, Trail, and back around: ten days of lake ferries, silver-rush ghost towns, and enough mountain culture to make you check real estate listings..

10 DAYS · MODERATE · From $10,000 CAD
Elk Valley & Beyond: the passElk Valley & Beyond: the glacier

Fernie, Sparwood, and up the Elkford valley to the Whiteswan connection.

From the edge of Frank Slide across to Cranbrook the long way. Up the Elk Valley past the big trucks' bigger cousins, through Elkford, and over the Whiteswan Lake connection where the Rockies stop being scenery and start being terrain.

Coleman to Hinton the long way, a founder favourite.

From the Crowsnest, Highway 40 runs essentially forever: Ram Falls, the wilderness areas, and hundreds of kilometres of almost nobody the whole way to Hinton. This is the front-range Alberta nobody markets: bighorn on the road, brook trout in the creeks, and gravel horizons that reset your sense of scale.

Ryan took us into parts of Vancouver Island I didn't even know existed. Driving along riverbanks, crossing legit deep rivers, and camping on riverside beaches that felt like our own private spot. The wildlife was unreal.

We had an unreal experience with Skybreaker Overland. We spent seven days exploring Vancouver Island and got way deeper into the island than we ever would have on our own. These trucks made it feel like no obstacle was too big.

This was an epic trip. Got to see some backcountry areas but still have all the comforts of home: a comfortable mattress, protection from rain and wind, and a hot shower. Looking forward to the next Overland adventure.

I joined Ryan and SkyBreaker Overland for the first three days of a longer expedition, driving my own Land Cruiser alongside his big expedition trucks, and it was a blast.

What a great adventure we had this winter with such a great company. We picked up Roxanne (the truck) and with Ryan's informative orientation it was a breeze to drive both in the city and the backcountry.

I have experienced Skybreaker Overland in many different ways. A winter hot springs expedition, the driver training course in the Kootenays, and the remote beaches of northern Vancouver Island.

Where the pavement ends

A rental follows the road. We're for what's past it.

The trip decides how far. Not the counter.

No distance caps. No pavement rules. Insured on gravel and deep in the backcountry.

You don't need to be an expert. You need an afternoon with us.

Orientation runs two to three hours: the systems, the driving, the confidence to leave. By day two it feels like yours.

Get properly lost. We're one message away.

Starlink on board, the founding team on the line, wherever you are. Never a call center.

The rate you see is the rate you pay.

Water, power, insurance, kilometres. All in. No counter surprises.

You're not renting a vehicle. You're going on an expedition.

The three day Southern Escape exists for exactly this.
